The short version
Zero tolerance
RaidPact prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in every form. There is no context, no framing and no exception under which this content or behaviour is permitted.
RaidPact is for trainers 18 and over. Every account passes an age check before it can be used, and accounts that do not meet the threshold are blocked from the app entirely.
Any trainer can be reported from inside the app, in two taps, without leaving RaidPact.
Reports are acted on. Accounts are removed, and material that appears to be child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is reported to the competent authorities.
What is prohibited
RaidPact: Remote Raid Teams does not permit, and will act against, any use of the app that involves:
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including photographs, video, drawings and computer-generated imagery.
Grooming — building a relationship with a minor in order to sexually exploit or abuse them, whether that continues inside RaidPact, inside Pokémon GO, or anywhere else.
Sextortion, solicitation, or any attempt to obtain sexual content from a minor.
Trafficking of a child, or facilitating the sexual exploitation of a child.
Using a RaidPact profile, nickname or friend code to make contact with a minor for any of the purposes above.
This applies regardless of where the conduct continues. RaidPact exists so that trainers can add each other in another game, and we treat abuse of that introduction as abuse of RaidPact.
How we keep the app adult-only
RaidPact is offered exclusively to people aged 18 and over. Raiding here means exchanging Pokémon GO friend codes with people you have not met, and adding them in another game where they can contact you directly. We cannot make that safe for children, so we do not offer it to them.
Every trainer is asked for their date of birth once, on a neutral screen that states no age requirement and pre-fills nothing. The answer is evaluated on our servers. An account that does not meet the threshold is permanently barred from the board, from lobbies and from friend code exchange — it cannot browse, host, join or be invited.
We store only whether the answer met the threshold. The date of birth itself is never retained.
How to report a child safety concern
Inside the app: tap any trainer to open their profile, then tap Report or block. Choose Sexual or inappropriate content or Harassment, add a note, and submit. You never have to leave RaidPact to file a report. You can also block the trainer in the same place, which prevents any further contact between you in either direction.
By email, including if you do not use the app: write to abuse@raidpact.app. This route is open to anyone — for example a parent, a guardian, or someone whose name or images are being misused.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Reporting to us is not a substitute for contacting the police.
What happens after a report
Reports go directly to the developer, not to other trainers, and the trainer being reported is not told who reported them.
We review every report concerning child safety as a priority, ahead of other report categories.
Accounts are removed. Where a report concerning CSAE is substantiated, the account is terminated and the nickname and friend code are withdrawn. This is permanent; there is no appeal path back into the app for CSAE.
Material is not retained beyond what the law requires. RaidPact does not host photographs, video or messages — the app has no chat and no image upload, and team check screenshots are read on the user's own device and never transmitted. Where CSAM nonetheless comes to our knowledge, we act on it and preserve only what applicable law requires us to preserve.
We report to the authorities. Where we obtain actual knowledge of apparent CSAM or of conduct that endangers a child, we report it to the competent authorities. RaidPact is operated from the Netherlands; reports are made to the Dutch police and, where appropriate, to the relevant national or international bodies for online child sexual exploitation.
We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement and child protection authorities.
Why the app is built this way
Some of RaidPact's design decisions reduce child safety risk directly, and they are deliberate:
There is no chat. RaidPact carries no private messaging, no images and no voice. Trainers coordinate through a lobby, not a conversation.
There is no image sharing. Nothing a user submits produces a picture that another user can see.
Blocking is mutual and silent. A blocked pair can never join the same lobby or send each other an invitation, and the blocked trainer is not told, which removes the incentive to retaliate with a new account.
Adults only, enforced server-side. The age check cannot be bypassed by reinstalling the app or editing anything on the device.
Compliance
RaidPact complies with applicable child safety laws in the jurisdictions where it is available, and operates under the supervision of the competent Dutch national authorities. These standards are published in accordance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.

RaidPact is developed and operated by an individual developer based in the Netherlands. The same person receives, reviews and acts on every report.
